About George Boase
George Boase by some native New Englander standards is still a newbie. Born in Evansville, Indiana, he moved to St Louis, Missouri and then Detroit, Michigan. He finally landed in Rhode Island in October 1986. When offered a job in 1990 that would require another move to Chicago, he turned it down to stay in the area he truly loved.
George, a life long sailing enthusiast, has been a freelance writer/photographer for the past 20 years. A current member of Boating Writers International, his main writing focus has been on yachting and travel within the New England area with photography work ranging from postcards to travel subjects as well.
