Ballston Beach is located on Cape Cod in the state of Massachusetts. You can find it on the southern side of the cape facing out toward the Atlantic Ocean, and this beach is also part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. This is a great beach to go to for families who are looking to experience a wilder side of the Cape. So many people come to the Cape and spend most of their time in the cities, but the fact of the matter is that Cape Cod National Seashore provides a distinct and intriguing look at the nature of New England, and if you happen to be near the seashore while you’re in Cape Cod, be sure to take the opportunity to explore Ballston Beach.
Ballston Beach is one of the few natural beaches that are mostly unoccupied in the state of Massachusetts. While other beaches will fill up on the Cape when the weather gets hot and tourists from all over the world come to this area of New England to enjoy the cool waters, this one is relatively untouched. Part of that is because Ballston Beach is in the middle of a nature preserve, which is not the first place that most people think about when it’s time to have some fun in the sun. This means that if you and your family would like to spend some time on a mostly deserted beach while enjoying what Cape Cod’s natural flora and fauna have to offer, this could be a great place for you to enjoy a quiet retreat. Sometimes it can seem as though everybody is on Cape Cod when the summer is hot and the water is fine – but if you take the time to explore Ballston Beach, you’ll be exposed to a very different side of the Cape.
Be sure to check out Ballston Beach for something a little unexpected and different during your time on Cape Cod. If you want to get involved with something a little bit different when you look to spend time on the sands of Massachusetts, Ballston Beach has the experience for you.
