Boston
Boston is the largest and the capital city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and also one of the oldest cities in the United States. It also happens to be the largest city in the entire region of New England, earning it the unofficial moniker “The Capital of New England.” The city of Boston has its roots in a colony started by intrepid individuals who came to the wilds of the New World back in 1630. Since then, the city has ahead a long, turbulent, and colorful history – it was one of the political hotbeds during the American Revolution, so much so that the town was considered the “Cradle of Liberty.” The area is rich with history from this time period – from the Boston Tea Party to the Boston Massacre to the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston; this city is steeped in history. In addition to the historical pursuits that the city offers, Boston contains a number of world-class universities, from Harvard to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to hundreds of others.

No matter what you want to do, Boston has your cup of tea – provided it hasn’t been tossed into the harbor!
